Sri Lankan Heritage
Sri Lanka is a nation rich in cultural diversity, ethnic traditions, languages, religions, and customs that have been passed down through generations. As a multicultural community in Calgary, we are proud to celebrate and preserve the unique heritage that makes Sri Lanka one of the most vibrant and culturally diverse countries in the world.
History of Our Association
Founded over 45 years ago, the SLCAC was created to preserve the strong family and community bonds. As many Sri Lankans settled in Calgary, the association became a place where strangers became friends and friends became family. Through cultural celebrations, community events, and shared traditions, we continue to bring people together and strengthen our family for future generations.
